Our challenge

Call of Duty: WWII or COD as it’s commonly referred to creates much excitement for gaming fans who can’t wait to get their hands on the latest version of the game for their PS4, Xbox One or MS Windows platforms.

Our UK Retail team were challenged with making sure that the game landed in-store on the first day of launch and in a prime position to keep gamers happy and also take up a prime opportunity for stores to maximise business sales.

Dee Set love these challenges and we’re good at it to (just saying).

Our 3500+ strong and might team thrive on exceeding customer expectations, it’s what we train for, and why they love nothing more than getting involved with new product launches and making them a success for our clients!

So, this particular client approached us and wanted safe hands to ensure the roll-out of COD was a success. We were made up when they chose our Fulfilment, Distribution and Merchandising teams to pack, transport and merchandise 500 branded FSDUs directly to stores across the UK.

“But what about sorting out any missing, lost or damaged parts” they asked. “Well, our Merchandisers makes sure they sort this on the client’s behalf too”, we said.

By 9 am COD was seamlessly assembled across all stores in high footfall areas simultaneously, leading to both happy gamers and happy clients.

Our team achieved over 95% compliance, which is you don’t mind us saying so, is pretty impressive, and a great result during a critical point on the retail calendar.

Our lightning ability for implementation and filling of FSDUs and retail packs was hugely successful and is something every brand and retailer should consider for busy seasonal events, we’re not just for Christmas.
